Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Tasbeeh counter work?

Tap the large button (or press the spacebar on a keyboard) to count each dhikr. The counter tracks your progress towards a target — for example 33 for SubhanAllah — and counts completed rounds. Your phone vibrates gently when you reach a target.

What is the 33 / 33 / 34 tasbeeh after prayer?

After each obligatory prayer it is a recommended Sunnah to say SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 34 times — totalling 100. All three are included as presets so you can move through them in order.

Will my counts be saved if I close the page?

Yes. Your current count, completed rounds, and custom dhikr are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will reset the counter, as nothing is stored on our servers.

Can I add my own dhikr?

Yes. Alongside the built-in presets you can add your own dhikr with a custom name and target count. Your custom dhikr are saved on your device.

A note on this tool This digital Tasbeeh counter is provided as a free aid for personal dhikr. The recommended counts shown (such as 33, 34, or 100) reflect commonly-practised adhkar; the precise wording and counts of any dhikr are best confirmed with an authentic source or a qualified teacher. Your counts and any custom dhikr are stored only on your own device using your browser's local storage — nothing is sent to our servers, and clearing your browser data will reset them.
